We are now seeking Production and Editing Assistants for School of Stardom, a groundbreaking Facebook story application. This position provides you an excellent viewpoint into storytelling and business in digital and social media.
Your responsibilities allow you to gain experience in planning and managing productions as well as publishing content in cross-media channels. In practice your tasks include

• Setting up and monitoring a production schedule with actors participating from several locations internationally (North America and Europe)
• Simple editing and arranging of clips submitted by actors
• Maintaining social media profiles (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest) for the story and its characters

We are hiring 1-2 interns and your exact role will be defined based on your background and ambitions.

Ideal candidates have education and work experience in media production, marketing and/or web and mobile services. Being a heavy user of online video, games and apps found on Facebook and smartphones will help in this work – essentially love stories and entertainment.

You should speak and write native or otherwise fluent English. Our team works out of the Aalto Venture Garage in the Helsinki region but we are also considering applicants working from elsewhere.

The internship will last for three months starting from the beginning of June with the option of continuing on part or full-time basis. The first month of the internship is non-pay. You will be paid 450 euro a month for July and August.

Our team consists of experienced media industry professionals who have worked with prime time TV drama and reality shows. We have also previously produced internationally successful web and Facebook applications. Storytally is funded by the Aalto Center for Entrepreneurship.
