Who?
Videolla.com is a brand-new online startup in media content distribution. It was founded by international team from Russia, US and Finland with total experience in 20+ startups in Silicon Valley and over the world. We share the passion for creating new services that customers will fall in love with. With Videolla.com we are aiming to redefine how online publishing works by offering powerful and elegant solution for monetization of content and audiences.

Videolla.com got very positive reviews from communities and advisers in US and Finland. Our team was selected for Bootcamp @ aaltoes.com in Finland, where we are planning to setup our primary research and development office.
Videolla.com is just in the beginning of its journey to become a global media marketplace and we are excited to welcome our first Finnish co-founders. Let’s make it BIG together!

What?
We are about one month away from launching our beta version. We are going to make it fast and dirty and develop iteratively using split testing and early users feedback. Videolla is self-funded by its founders and will be bootstrapping until the first round. We are looking for the first core member in Finland to help us to launch and setup a local development office.

You:
- Hacker/web designer with experience in web, cloud technologies, online video streaming, scalable services and agile development
- Have passion for solving complex problems on the edge of technology and business. (Ex: What is the cheapest way to encode 10Gb of video per minute?)
- Love testing new things, rework existing solutions and disrupt old models
- “Startup-infected” – passion for creating new things and making them BIG!
- Like the idea of building a global distributed company (think frequent flies to US, trips over Europe etc)
- Have a passion for changing the world
- Think it is going to be real fun to build a company that actually makes A LOT of money, not just burn some of investor’s money.
-Nice to have familiarity with Ruby and Ruby on Rails
OR
If you are a media/PR specialist, CEO, co-founder or adviser of Finnish technological company with international experience – let’s talk anyways. We are just starting in Finland so having a lot of roles to be filled with a few generalists.

Can I work part-time?
Absolutely. Although we have a lot of work for our small and distributed team so we work really hard!

Wait, how about salary?
Because we are bootstrapping ourselfs, we are currently not offering any salary in the next two months. After that time team members will get significant options and salary.
